Privacy Policy for Own Life Cycle

Own Life Cycle helps you map personal phases, habits, and milestones on your device. This policy describes what the app may access and what we deliberately do not collect.

Last updated: May 19, 2026

Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the Own Life Cycle mobile application published on the Apple App Store and to the public content API hosted on this site. It is written for end users of the app and visitors reading this page.

Information We Collect

Own Life Cycle does not require you to create an account. We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, government identifiers, or payment details through the app itself.

Content you enter in the app — such as phase titles, habit labels, or personal notes — is stored for your use within the app experience. We do not use that content for advertising profiles.

When the app loads remote configuration or copy (for example onboarding text or checklist templates), it may request read-only JSON from this website’s API. Those responses contain app content, not your private entries.

Device Permissions and Technical Data

Own Life Cycle may rely on standard iOS capabilities needed for normal operation, such as local storage and network access to fetch optional content. We do not request access to contacts, photos, or the microphone unless a future feature clearly requires it and is disclosed in the app and in an updated version of this policy.

Like most mobile software, limited technical metadata (for example app version or crash diagnostics if you opt in to Apple’s sharing) may be processed by Apple’s systems under Apple’s own privacy terms.

Third-Party Services

We may use hosting and content-delivery providers to serve this policy page and public API endpoints. Those providers process traffic and logs needed to operate the service and are bound by their own privacy practices.

If we add optional analytics or support tools in the future, we will describe them here and limit collection to what is necessary for the stated purpose.

Children's Privacy

Own Life Cycle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us via the App Store support channel so we can assist with removal where applicable.

Data Retention and Security

Data you keep in the app remains under your control on your device. You can remove entries by deleting them in the app or uninstalling the application.

We apply reasonable safeguards for our hosted pages and APIs. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure; use the app in line with your own comfort level for sensitive information.

Your Choices

You may stop using Own Life Cycle at any time. You can disable network access for the app in iOS Settings if you prefer an offline-only experience where supported.

For questions about access, correction, or deletion related to data we control, reach out through the support contact listed on the App Store product page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
